We Muslims are fortunate enough to have Islam as our guide. The commandment which Islam gives in any field is full of wisdom. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “If anyone of you have means to get married then get married”. Islam promotes marriage and gives utmost value to the married life. Marriage is the solution to many problems which occurs in the Social life. It helps youngsters to utilize their valuable time and energy in the right perspective.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said: “Marriage is half of faith.” In broad sense Marriage eradicates half of the evils of the Society and makes man pure and clear in his thoughts. It helps in Social life as it gives a life partner who shares joys and sorrows, helps in other activities, gives solace and peace of mind.

It not only helps in lowering your gaze and controlling your lust, but also helps in keeping away from sins which are the result of others’ behavior. If a person (of opposite gender) comes to know about you and then knows that you are married then automatically the sinful thinking which sparks in the mind gets terminated. The chance of getting trapped in the sins gets lower and lower.

Satan makes the sins beautiful and presents it according to the nature of the people. He brings the like-minded people closer and closer, and makes initial start which ends up in heinous crimes. So if you are married early then the gateway of social crimes is closed.

You may be pious and try to follow the way of Prophet (peace be upon him), but what about the forces which comes from outside. What about those who are filled with lustful desires and flirty nature? What about those who are attracted towards you? They will not be one, there are many who gets attracted towards you, directly or indirectly, for the work you do, for the talent you have, for the personality you possess, or the fame you have obtained.

You might have heard the quotes “Prevention is better than cure”, “Better to be safe than sorry”, “Prepare and prevent, don't repair and repent” and alike. Similar goes with your social life. You should be protected from the evil of the society. For example: If there are bullets coming towards you, you can avoid it by your movement or wear a bullet-proof garment. If you avoid by moving here and there, there are high chances of you getting bullets, but if you wear the bullet-proof jacket then you are safe, the bullet that hits you will change its way as soon as it hits the jacket. Similarly, you can avoid evil with your behavior but there are high chances of you getting trapped in it. But when you are married then it acts as a shield and protects you from the social evil.

Secondly, you enjoy life when you get married early. It helps you to have more offspring who can be beneficial for your family and society at large. You can have time to enjoy your life as there will be your children to handle your business or work. You can have more time to utilize in other social activities, run NGOs, be a part of Welfare work, and can be a full time Daee (A Person who invites people to Islam). Moreover, if you marry early then you will complete half of your Deen early.

So it is said “As soon as you see a mistake and don't fix it, it becomes your mistake.”
